What to expect
Out of pain, with a clear plan
When you arrive, we’ll get you settled quickly. Your dentist listens to what’s brought you in, examines the tooth or area causing the problem and, if it will help, takes a small X-ray.
- Your appointment focuses on the problem you’ve come in with
- The £100 fee covers the consultation and advice
- Any treatment is quoted and charged separately, before it starts
- Some issues are resolved in one visit; others are stabilised first and completed at a follow-up
An emergency appointment doesn’t include a full mouth check-up. If you’d like one afterwards, we’ll happily book you in as a new or returning patient.

Patient reviews
Seen quickly, and put at ease
Here’s what patients say about their emergency appointments with us.
I needed emergency dental treatment on a Saturday and was seen within the hour, which was such a relief. From the moment I arrived, the staff were courteous, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The dentist was calm, thorough, and made me feel completely at ease…
Quick, efficient and cost friendly. I was seen next day and was priced over the phone exactly what I paid. Every member of staff was a delight and I’d be more than happy to visit again for any and all dental needs
Very good experience! I went for an emergency appointment and felt welcome from the moment I came in from the moment I left, very skilled dentist and took the time to explain everything to me. I have rebooked an appointment with them, the place was very clean and professional
Before you get to us
Caring for your dental emergency while you wait
-
01
For pain or swelling
Try relieving discomfort or swelling with an anti-inflammatory medication like ibuprofen, following the recommended dosage.
-
02
For a cracked or broken tooth
Gather all the pieces, wrap them carefully in a clean, damp cloth and bring them with you to your appointment.
-
03
For a tooth that has fallen out
Carefully rinse it in lukewarm salt water, making sure not to handle it by the root, and call us straight away.
Steer clear of aspirin: its blood-thinning properties can make the situation worse.

Emergency dental care: your questions
In pain right now? Call us on 020 3930 0922.
An emergency consultation at My E20 Dentist is £100. It covers the assessment of the problem you’ve come in with, plus advice on how to resolve it. X-rays, if needed, are £15 each. Any treatment is quoted separately, and you’ll get a clear price before anything starts.
Yes. Because our dentists live locally, we’re often able to see emergency patients outside standard opening hours, including evenings and weekends. Call us on 020 3930 0922 and we’ll do everything we can to fit you in.
Your dentist listens to what’s going on and examines the affected area, taking an X-ray if it helps. We focus on getting you out of pain and stabilising the issue. The appointment covers this problem only, not a full mouth check-up.
Most last between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on what treatment is needed. Some issues are resolved in one visit; others are stabilised first and completed at a longer follow-up appointment.
The most common are temporary fillings, pain relief, antibiotics for infection, repairs to chipped or broken teeth, re-cementing loose crowns or bridges, root canal treatment and, in some cases, extraction when a tooth can’t be saved. Your dentist talks you through the options before any treatment begins.
Dental problems rarely resolve on their own and often get worse. Acting quickly can be the difference between saving a tooth and losing it, especially with knocked-out or broken teeth, and untreated infections can spread into the surrounding bone.
No. Emergency appointments are for patients of all ages, whether or not you’re registered with us. Just call or send us your details.
